Weekend Edition: Showing Up with Courage and Compassion

Tea with Tess - an interview with Adrianne Lind

Morning Pause 'n Tea is your digital invitation to breathe deep, nourish yourself, and pause 🌿 Join me for weekly holistic—and realistic—ideas on wellness, nourishing recipes, and intentional self-care.

Happy Summer Solstice (or Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere)!!

To kick off this new Summer season, I have a wonderful new Tea with Tess to share with you this month with my dear friend, fellow yoga teacher and writer, Adrianne Lind.

I first met Adrianne during a course with My Vinyasa Practice, and since then we’ve collaborated on a few different soulful projects—including the incredible Shakti Rising International Women's Day Summit, which Adrianne organized with so much intention and love. I was also lucky to be one of her first guests on her podcast Yoga Saved Me—a space that, much like Adrianne herself, radiates authenticity, healing and deep care.

In this conversation, Adrianne and I talk about everything from the power of sisterhood and asking for help, to how we navigate grief, burnout, and the slow path of healing through yoga and mindfulness. We touch on honoring our circadian rhythms, letting go of people-pleasing, and finding courage one small, gentle step at a time. It's a conversation filled with laughter, insight, and those nourishing reminders we often forget to give ourselves.

Adrianne is one of those rare people who leads with vulnerability and wisdom. She reminds us that healing doesn’t come from pushing through—it comes from pausing, tuning in, and showing up with compassion for where we are today.

☕ Whether you’re curled up with tea or listening while on the move, I hope this episode brings a little breath of softness to your day.

So, without further ado, join us for this month’s Tea with Tess!
